Prof. Edward Gamaya Hoseah

Overview And Experience
Professor Hoseah is the Founding & Managing Partner of Hoseah & Co. Advocates. He brings immense experience from both public and private sector.
He is a member and the President of Tanganyika Law Society (2021 -2023) and an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and Courts subordinate thereto.
He is also a member of the East African Law Society. His experience includes service as a Director General of the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) from 2006 to 2015.
He has both local and international experience in managing complex institutions including serving as the Chairperson of the Anti-Corruption Commission for SADC Countries (SAFAC), he has served on the United Nations Convention Against Corruption and also on a number of Boards
including as Vice President of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities.
He has also been the President of the Commonwealth-Africa Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities and President of East Africa Anti-Corruption Authorities.

He holds a:
- Professor of Law from the University of Iringa
- PhD (LAW) from the University of Dar es Salaam;
- Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Queen’s University, Canada, and;
- LL.B (Hon) from the University of Dar es Salaam.
What he brings to the firm:
Prof. Hoseah brings to the Firm expertise in International Trade and Conventions, Investment Law and also Business and Criminal law, Asset Recovery, Arbitration, and Conflict Management. He is renown for his expertise in Corporate Law, Debt Collection and he has advised many organisations on both international and local investment. He is also responsible for the Strategic direction of the Firm.
